Broadband Hospitality, based in Youngstown, Ohio, with offices in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, specializes in deploying turn-key integrated Wi-Fi, DirecTV, CCTV, PBX, interactive television, interactive mobile applications, and digital signage to the hospitality marketplace.

BBH has an immediate opportunity for an Account Retention Specialist with strategic experience and solid understanding of all areas of telecommunications within the hospitality industry. This is a highly visible role that will require communication skills and a motivated, organized individual to meet deadlines and build team collaboration.

Job Description:

The Account Retention Specialist is responsible for managing customer information, including contract details, monthly recurring billing, customer order information, and renewals.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficiently coordinate/manage all fiber circuit orders/activation with the vendor
  • Proficiently coordinate/manage all PBX/VOIP orders/activation with the vendor
  • Proficiently coordinate/manage all POTS orders/activation with the vendor
  • Manage communication/escalation to vendors post-install
  • Manage escalation activities efficiently and communicate with internal staff as well as clients
  • Manage and report potential risks in project implementations
  • Track and update the company CRM (Salesforce)
  • Manage customer inventories and provide audit reviews
  • Monitor and manage recurring charges in Acumatica
  • Place disconnects
  • Billing disputes
  • Customer renewal analysis
  • Maintain customer contract information

Skills Required:

  • 3+ years of account management experience
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and explain technical concepts for telecommunication scopes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) and other Project Management software
  • Demonstrate competency with various telecom provisioning formats & technologies (POTS, SIP, television, & Circuits)
  • Highly organized with multitasking and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies
  • Ability to communicate when operational breakdowns occur
  • Ability to handle high stress in a professional manner
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Skills Preferred:

  • Hospitality, MDU, or Senior Living Facilities verticals experience
  • Salesforce
  • Basic technical telecom knowledge

Special Requirements:

  • The position is remote. The Broadband Hospitality main office is located in Youngstown, OH.

Installation Technician Description
Founded in 1993, BBH is one of the largest and fastest-growing hospitality technology providers in the country. A true turn-key provider, we work with hoteliers and developers to design, implement, and support the latest and greatest technology; everything from in-room casting, guest room entertainment, to managed internet and network services, CCTV, phone systems, access control systems, interactive television, mobile application, digital signage and more. BBH has also been recognized as one of the fastest-growing DIRECTV Lodging & Institution dealers in the country, having won the DIRECTV DRE Dealer of the Year Award and currently a member of the DIRECTV Advisory Council.

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Install Technician. As an Install Technician, you will work on-site at Client Properties to assist with the installation of technology solutions, including everything in our portfolio from low-voltage cabling to satellite systems at hotels and conference centers across the United States. A fantastic position with lots of opportunity for advancement for the right individual.

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
Strong work ethic and time management skills with the ability to work under
minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor as you will be the face of our
company, both on-site and on the phone
Ability to run and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat3/5/6, RG6, etc)
A solid understanding of networking principles with the ability to learn on your
feet.
Strong troubleshooting skills and methodology
Domestic air and vehicle travel to job sites required on a weekly basis
Ability to travel 90%+ for the position
Ability to drive a car in-state and out-of-state with a valid driver’s license.

Any professional experience with DIRECTV (or other SATV/CATV) or Mitel (or other PBX) is a big
PLUS but not required.

We offer medical, vision, dental, PTO and 401(k) available at 90 days.

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
