Installation Technician Description

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Install Technician. As an Install Technician, you will work on-site at Client Properties to assist with the installation of technology solutions, including everything in our portfolio from low-voltage cabling to satellite systems at hotels and conference centers across the United States. The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
Strong work ethic and time management skills with the ability to work under
minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor as you will be the face of our
company, both on-site and on the phone
Ability to run and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat3/5/6, RG6, etc)
A solid understanding of networking principles with the ability to learn on your
feet.
Strong troubleshooting skills and methodology
Domestic air and vehicle travel to job sites required on a weekly basis
Ability to travel 90%+ for the position
Ability to drive a car in-state and out-of-state with a valid driver’s license.

Any professional experience with DIRECTV (or other SATV/CATV) or Mitel (or other PBX) is a big
PLUS but not required.

Broadband Hospitality, based in Youngstown, Ohio, with offices in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, specializes in deploying turn-key integrated Wi-Fi, DIRECTV, CCTV, PBX, Casting, and Interactive Television, to the hospitality marketplace.

BBH has an immediate opportunity for a Telecommunications Project Manager with construction experience in the Hospitality Industry and a solid understanding of all areas of telecommunications within the hospitality industry. The PM will take the lead role in the planning of projects from inception to equipment procurement, installation, budgeting, scheduling, and support throughout the project lifecycle. Our next Project Manager will be proactive, organized, and responsible for leading teams nationwide and working closely with internal members to ensure a successful project and satisfied customers. This is a highly visible role that will require solid communication skills and a motivated, organized individual to meet deadlines and build team collaboration. This is a full-time, salaried position at either our headquarters in Youngstown, Ohio or as a nationwide remote position.

Position Requirements:

· BA/BS Degree

· 3+ years of Construction Project Management experience

· 3+ years of low-voltage cabling and termination projects

· Must be able to learn, understand, and explain technical concepts and telecommunication project products, scopes, and dependencies in business terms

· Strong organizational skills (critical attention to detail, task prioritization, and ability to meet deadlines)

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Able to promptly and efficiently adapt to shifting priorities and realign project goals and timelines

· Must be able to travel to conduct site surveys and work with installation teams

· Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities expected; ability to elicit cooperation from a variety of sources, including upper management, clients, peers, and other departments

· Able to motivate and influence team members to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work in a respectful, constructive manner

· Comfortable working to challenging deadlines with a high degree of change; stress-tolerant

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio) and other Project Management software

Preferred Skills:

· Experience leading hospitality technology-based projects
